St. Helen Catholic Church will be holding its 50th Annual Bazaar Sunday, June 12, on the grounds of the church at 2209 Old Alvin Road in Pearland. This year is also the 50th anniversary of St. Helen as a Parish in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Another milestone for the church this year is the construction of a new education building commencing the day after the bazaar, at the site of the bazaar.

The 50th Annual Bazaar is being held Sunday, June 12, 2016, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with the BBQ Dinner serving beginning at 11:00. At 1:00 p.m., immediately before the Live Auction begins, Mayor Tom Reid will present a Proclamation from the City of Pearland recognizing the 50th Anniversary of St. Helen Catholic Church. In addition to the Live Auction, there will be a silent auction conducted throughout the afternoon along with other festivities such as Bingo, kiddie rides, and various other games and food booths.
