You are invited to our 3rd Annual Fall Festival, Open House and Charity Fundraising Event on Saturday, October 12th, 2:00pm-5:00pm!

This event is FREE, open to the public, and will be held rain or shine. This event is also pet-friendly. For everyone’s safety, please ensure your pet is properly restrained at all times. This fun family-friendly event provides tons of food, fun, learning, giveaways, vendors, games and prizes, tours, and a Pet Costume Contest – all for free! There will be free nachos, snow cones and popcorn and a bouncy house for the kids (heck, for us adults, too!)

PET COSTUME CONTEST AND SOME AMAZING PRIZES!
Halloween is right around the corner – have some fun and dress your pet up for the pet costume contest! The contest is open to all pets (not just dogs). Judging is based on creativity, cuteness and uniqueness.

1st Place Prize: Gold Medal and a Dental Cleaning
2nd Place Prize: Silver Medal and a 3 Day/2 Night stay for your pet at PPHC, along with a bath, nail trim and teeth brushing
3rd Place Prize: Bronze Medal and a Goodie Basket filled with dental items, including CET Chews, Aquadent, Toothpaste, etc.

You do not need to pre-register for the contest prior to the event, and there is no entry fee. You may register your pet in person at the event between 2:00pm-3:00pm or you may pre-register online at www.pearlandpethealthcenter.com Judging begins at 3:15pm and the award ceremony will follow immediately afterwards.

COME OUT FOR YOUR FREE FALL PHOTO!

An area inside the hospital has been transformed into a beautiful Fall setting where there will be a photographer waiting for you to bring your pet, your entire family, or just you, to get your picture taken for free!

FIRE ARSON DOG “BUDDY”!

Pearland’s fire arson dog “Buddy” and his trainer Greg Bozdech will be attending the event. Buddy and his trainer will be doing live demonstrations showing you how Buddy can identify accelerants in particular areas. Buddy will also be posing for pictures with the kids.

FUNDRAISING
Raffle tickets will be sold for $1.00 each or six tickets for $5.00. Raffle prizes include gift certificates to Pearland Pet Health Center, gift certificates to area restaurants, a car detailing and oil change, Visa gift cards, pet food and treats, amongst many other raffle prizes! All raffle prize winners will be drawn at the end of the event at 5:00pm. You do not need to be present to win. Raffle tickets will be on sale prior to the event starting September 20th. You may purchase tickets in person at our clinic.

We will have a pet ID tag engraver on site. Come get an ID tag engraved! This is an excellent opportunity to pick up an extra ID tag for your pet, or to have a special tag engraved that lists any medical needs for your pet, or have a tag engraved for you as a key chain! All tags are just $1.00 each and all proceeds are donated to the pet rescue groups attending our event.

We have hired a professional face painter and balloon artist to entertain the kids (and us, too!). All face painting and balloon animals are by donation.

100% of all proceeds raised will be donated directly to the rescue groups attending our event: Pup Squad, Red Collar Rescue, Bunny Buddies, and Pearland Animal Control.

GAMES AND PRIZES
Come take a spin on our Wheel of Fortune wheel and you could win coupons to our clinic among other prizes! We will also be having a kid-friendly Litterbox Treasure Digging game for the kids where they will win prizes every time! All games are free!

LEARNING
The festival isn’t just about food and fun, there are also several ways for you and your kids to learn about pets, their health and their safety. The clinic will be open for guests to walk through to see how a veterinary clinic operates and functions. A full room will be displaying normal household items that most people are not aware are actually toxic to their pets. Do you know what digital pet ultrasounds or digital radiographs look like? Or how they are used? Have you ever seen a full real dog skeleton? Curious to know what in-house bloodwork and other in-house laboratory diagnostics results and testing areas look like? You can see how these benefit your pet and exactly what each test or procedure looks like and exactly what the doctors see and interpret to diagnose your pet. Have you ever wondered what an actual surgery room looks like? Or what kind of equipment is used to clean your pet’s teeth? You can see first hand what exactly is used and how it is done.

Come out with your entire family and have an afternoon filled with free food, fun, a memorable fall photo, help area rescue organizations and learn a little, too! The entire staff including Dr. May, Dr. Post and Dr. Zoo will be there for you to meet!
