Last year on Valentine’s Day 23 KPB volunteers picked up 16,197 cigarette butts.  The number was down from 2013’s count of 33,330 butts for the same 20 intersections.  The 2016 event starts with a training and lunch at noon at the Stella Roberts Recycling Center.  Then groups of volunteers will go to the 20 transition points and pick up butts. We do need some adults who can help transport 3-4 volunteers to the different intersections.
