Several residents have mentioned that the City of Pearland is billing twice in the month of February. Below is a message from the City:

CUSTOMERS WHO RECEIVED A BILL IN FEBRUARY WITH A PAST DUE BALANCE – PLEASE READ:

The February water bill that you recently received may reflect a past due balance due on February 5th and a current balance due on February 24th.

The amount due that appears on this bill reflects actual consumption from a previous time period. Refer to the Service Period line in the Account Information box to determine the period covered by this bill.

If you have already paid the balance due on February 5th, please disregard the past due amount shown.
