March 15, 2019
Dear Neighbor
As you may know, over the last 18 months our team has worked to ensure a safe and reliable repair solution for erosion along the bank of Mary’s Creek, which was initially caused by unprecedented amounts of rainfall and high-water levels from Hurricane Harvey.
In May of 2018, we completed the first phase of work to install a permanent bank erosion control system. We are now planning to implement and execute the final phase of the project. Recently, however, the bank suffered ore erosion due to wet weather and rainfall. This too will be addressed by our teams during this final phase of installation.
The safety of the community is our top priority and our teams have ensured the integrity and safety of the pipelines. We will work safely and diligently over the next several weeks to complete the repairs. We wanted to let you know ahead of time that there will at times be loud noise associated with the repairs and apologize in advance for any inconveniences this may cause. We will work with our contactor making the repairs to minimize the inconveniencies as much as possible.
If you have any concerns or feedback, please contact me by email at pipelinequestions@lyb.com.
Sincerely,
Scot McClure
