City Services
The Fire Marshal’s Office reminds residents that all types of open burning, including storm debris and tree limbs is prohibited within the city limits and ETJ of Pearland at all times.If you have any questions please contact the Fire Marshal’s Office at 281.997.4650. –
The Recreation Center & Natatorium will remain closed to the public at least until Sunday, Sept.3.
The Pearland High School located at 3775 S. Main, will be a distribution center for clothing, toiletries and packaged food items and on Friday, Sept. 1 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Garbage/Recycling Collection
Waste Management has resumed limited service on a regular schedule for scheduled residents and commercial customers. Recycling and green waste will not be serviced until further notice – only household garbage. Please do not put out recycling carts. The Recycling Center will be open Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Storm Debris
The contractor will start picking up storm debris soon. To make the debris pick up process easier and faster for everyone, please see these reminders.
- Do not put any debris in plastic bags.
- All storm debris needs to be placed several feet from any normal household trash.
- Storm debris should be sorted in piles: Vegetative,Construction/Demolition Debris, Appliances, Electronics and Hazardous Waste.
- The first scheduled pick up will be communicated soon.
Damage reports
If you have experienced damage in your home, please report that information to us at pearlandtx.gov/damagereport.
Curfew
The emergency conditions curfew for the City of Pearland has been lifted. The juvenile curfew addressed by city ordinance is still in effect.
