Race to survive at the Zombie Fun Run

Come out for a Ghoul Ol’ Time on Oct. 29 at the City’s first-ever Zombie Fun Run. Running the 1.5 mile off road course will result in fun for the whole family. Whether you are part of a team or are a lone survivor, you must carefully maneuver through the zombie horde and daring obstacles where you will try your best to protect your 2 “lives” from hungry zombies and make it to the finish-line. Along your journey, there will be safe houses and challenges, which will give you a chance to win extra lives. Drinks, snacks and prizes will be presented at the end of the race.

Come walk down the Trick-or-Treat Trail

Calling all ghosts and goblins. Join us at the 14th Annual Trick or Treat Trail.Trick-or-Treaters of all ages are invited out to this FREE community-wide event. The event will feature a variety of entertainment, games, music, inflates and much more for trick-or-treaters.

Get caught fishin’ at Kid Fish Fest

Come get caught fishin’ at Bass Pro Shops. The City of Pearland has partnered with Bass Pro Shops to host Kid Fish Fest, an outreach program designed to educate and provide hands-on fishing experiences, for children ages 3 to 16. During the event, participants will learn about fishing, conservation and respect for the environment.

Volunteers for several of our upcoming Fall events are being accepted. Come be a zombie in the Zombie Fun Run, help out along our Trick-or-Treat Trail or help us to prepare for this year’s Kid Fish Fest.

Join the indoor basketball league

The Parks & Recreation Department invites all youth basketball players to sign up for the Winter/Spring recreational youth basketball league. This league, perfect for boys & girls ages 7 to 14, is designed to teach teamwork, the fundamentals of basketball and better prepare players for future basketball teams.

Get fresh fruits & vegetables at the Farmer’s Market

The Pearland Old Townsite Farmer’s Market offers fresh, locally grown produce year-round. Farmer’s Markets are held on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month in Zychlinsky Park right on Grand Blvd. Be sure to come out next week for their Oct. 8 Farmer’s Market.
