CPR / AED & First Aid training offered
American Red Cross CPR/AED & First Aid training is now available at the Recreation Center. The course teaches students to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants, use an AED on an adult or child victim of cardiac arrest, and use personal protective equipment to stop blood-borne pathogens and other diseases from spreading.

Fall swim lessons begin Sept. 5
Looking to hone your swimming ability? Then enroll in our private swim lessons! Our training is great for participants 3 years to adults who more individual practice. Fall swim lessons will begin Sept. 5.The Parks & Recreation Department needs you to volunteer as a Youth Basketball Coach! Put your basketball experience to good use and make a difference in the life of a child. The recreational youth basketball leagues aim to teach basketball fundamentals and skills by emphasizing sportsmanship, team play and clean/fair competition.

Family Matters Fun Run
Pearland Parks & Recreation has partnered with Counseling Connections for Change to host a 1K, 5K and 10K fun run on Saturday, Sept. 24. Both 5 K and 10 K courses are sanctioned by USATF. Proceeds will benefit Counseling Connections for Change.

Join our indoor basketball league
It’s not too late to become a Pearland Parks & Recreation basketball legend. Our indoor basketball league is open to men ages 18 & older. The registration fee includes a 7- game regular season schedule, single elimination playoff, officials and awards. Games will be held at the Recreation Center & Natatorium. Teams must pay in full to register.
