Come celebrate Texas Independence in Friendswood at the first annual Texas Music Fest on March 5, from 2 to 9 p.m. General admission to the Texas Music Fest, at the corner of FM 518 and FM 2351, is free.

There will be plenty of live music. Scheduled performers include Country singers Zane Williams, Bri Bagwell, Friendswood’s own Neil Austin Imber, Bruce Courtney and “Saints Eleven.”

The Texas Music Fest will have food available for purchase from numerous local vendors and food trucks.
