Santa in the Park
While “There’s no place like home for the holidays,” it’s not officially Christmas until you’ve attended “Santa in the Park,” sponsored by HomeTown Bank of Friendswood.
Santa in the Park is Saturday, December 12, from 3 to 8 p.m. in Stevenson Park, 1100 S. Friendswood Drive.
There will be live musical entertainment, photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a 40,000 pound snow hill slide, carnival rides, a petting zoo, and a Holiday Market (with more than 65 booths and free gift wrapping).
Following the lighting of the Christmas tree, see a spectacular fireworks display, synchronized to Christmas music.
Admission to the Park and live entertainment is free. A wristband is required for the following: amusement rides, snow hill slide, petting zoo, photo booth, train rides and face painting.
A special discounted wristband presale will take place during normal business hours, November 30 through December 10 at Friendswood City Hall, 910 S. Friendswood Drive. Bring a canned food item to City Hall for the Mary Queen Catholic Church Food Pantry and receive a $5 discount off a $10 wristband.
Wristbands the day of the event are $10.
“Santa in the Park” is presented by Keep Friendswood Beautiful and the City of Friendswood.
