Pearland Candy-Coated Christmas Lighted Parade
Date: Saturday, Dec. 5
Time: 6 – 8 p.m.
Location: The route will travel east on FM 518. The parade begins at Old Alvin Road and ends at Pearland Parkway.
About the Event: The 2015 parade theme is “Candy-Coated Christmas” which is sure to bring out the creativity in each group. Parade entries are open to local organizations, businesses, groups and individuals. The entry fee is $10. Float staging will be located on Old Alvin Road. Walking, emergency vehicles, equestrian entries and floats with large walking groups will be staged at Pearland Junior High East located at 2315 Old Alvin Road. Parade entry numbers will be pre-assigned and floats will be directed to their staging location upon arrival.
Volunteers: This event strongly relies on volunteers to work as parade marshals, assist with staging floats, clean up, and much more. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, you can contact

Parking: Spectators may park in the shopping centers along the parade route at no cost.
Inclement Weather Plan: Light rain will not affect the parade however, heavy storms or the potential of heavy storms could result in a cancellation. In the event of a cancellation the parade will not be rescheduled. For the health and safety of our guests, we ask that you please do not bring your pets to this event. (Service dogs, in harness, are permitted)
