Featured guest speaker, Chris Wiesinger, has dedicated his life’s work to recapturing something that was once “lost” to the Southern gardener: bulbs that thrive in warm climates, many of which are rare, heirloom or both. He founded the Southern Bulb Company to share his finds with the world. Join us as he tells his stories of discovering heirloom bulbs in his travels across Texas.

The luncheon is moving to a different location this year.  The luncheon and native plant sale will be Friday, October 9^th at the Pearland First United Methodist Church Family Life Center, (2314 N. Grand, Pearland, TX  77581). Doors open at 10:30 AM for silent auction and plant shopping prior to the luncheon program.   The native and adaptive plant sale continues until 5:00 PM. The plant sale moves to the Pearland Farmers Market Saturday morning, October 10^thfrom 8:00 AM until noon. The farmer’s market is located at Zychlinski Park, 2243 Grand Blvd.
