The 11th Annual Pear Run will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Pearland Town Center in Pearland, TX. The event includes a 10K/5K run as well as a 5K walk and a Kids’ Fun Run. The Pear Run benefits the Pearland Police Department through the Pearland Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (PCPAAA).

Your donations, along with other money raised from this event, go directly to support the Pearland Police Department in financial matters not covered in their annual budget. In 2014, the PCPAAA donated over $25,000 to the police department and awarded $1,500 in Educational Scholarships to 3 worthy recipients! Past Pear Run Sponsors have aided the police department in purchasing items such as: negotiation equipment for the SWAT Unit, a T-REX all-terrain vehicle, software/hardware updates for the Crash Data Recovery System (Pearland is the only agency in Brazoria County with this equipment), sending the Pearland Honor Guard to Austin and Washington D.C. during Police Week, and much more!
