On March 12, 2015 burglary from vehicles occurred on Pine Chase Drive,  This is a very common crime.  Now that the weather is getting nicer time to remind ourselves how not to become a victim to this crime

The Pearland Police Department offers these tips to help keep citizens from becoming a victim of a car burglary.

• LOCK YOUR CAR
• At home or on the road, keep valuables out of plain sight
• Secure purses, computers, GPS systems, radar detectors, mp3 players, etc in the home or in the trunk
• Bags, briefcases or backpacks make tempting targets for car burglars; don’t leave them in the car.
• Don’t trust that window tint will keep your valuables hidden
