It’s less than a month until the 12th Annual Red Hat Literacy Luncheon. With the confirmation of Larry Dierker, former Houston Astros Manager and famed pitcher, as the guest speaker, and Elissa Rivas as the Mistress of Ceremonies, we started this year with plenty of motivation to plan a wonderful Luncheon for more than 500 attendees and to exceed our community’s expectations. The event will be held on March 26th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Pearland.

We believe the support given by our community is what makes the Luncheon so special. We have already received numerous sponsorships and we are thrilled with all the support we’ve been getting.

All proceeds from the Luncheon go to funding the programs the Center offers allows us to provide instruction free of charge to adults with limited literacy skills who seek to learn English as a second language, to obtain their GED or citizenship, or to acquire computer skills and get a better job.
