Several Pine Hollow residents met at Linda Rider’s house on Wednesday night to discuss developing a walking program for the subdivision.  Due to schedule conflicts and some residents not able to attend, a future meeting is being planned to continue the discussion.  Many ideas were shared about how to implement a walking program in Pine Hollow, but additional input from residents needs to be included to proceed.

~ The color orange/orange shirts would be worn to signify walkers and also a good visual for traffic~

~ Focus is on individual/group walking for all ages and abilities and family participation~

~ The Neighborhood Watch program would benefit by having residents create a presence~

~ Safety/Strategies for walking in the neighborhood~

~ Flyers will be sent out to residents to make sure ALL residents are informed about the PINE HOLLOW HIKERS……..Do not want to exclude residents without access to email~
