The project will expand 2.76 miles of the road and includes the full build out of the McLean Road, Harkey Road, and Veterans Drive intersections.
Engineering work is nearly complete and the City will be accepting bids in early 2015. Construction will soon follow. For up-to-date information on transportation projects, visit the Capital Projects & Engineering Department’s Web page on the City’s Web site. |
Don’t forget to shop local this holiday season |
The holiday shopping season is upon us and we encourage Pearlanders to spend their shopping dollars in Pearland.
Studies have shown that spending a $100 in a city will keep $43 circulating in that community. And…when you shop locally, the Pearland Chamber of Commerce might surprise you with a gift card. They will be giving away $50 gift cards throughout the holiday season to individuals who shop local. Click here for more information. |
