Pearland ISD Livestock Show, Career Expo Slated for Sept. 18-20
The community is gearing up for the third annual Pearland ISD Livestock Show & Career Expo Sept. 18-20 at the Richard L. Wagoner Agricultural Facility (4715 Bailey Road).
During the show, Pearland ISD students will exhibit livestock, showcase career talents and win scholarships and awards in art and culinary contests and lamb, goat, swine and cattle shows.
Show Schedule
Thursday, Sept. 18:
5-6 p.m. – Culinary Show Judging
5-8 p.m. – Petting Zoo
6 p.m. – Goat Show
7 p.m. – Lamb Show
Friday, Sept. 19:
3-5 p.m. – Art Judging
5-5:30 p.m. – Art Viewing/Champion Art Presentation
5-8 p.m. – Petting Zoo
6 p.m. – Steer Show/Steer Showmanship
7 p.m. – Swine Show/Show Showmanship
Saturday, Sept. 20:
4:30-6 p.m. – Buyer’s Dinner (at Richard L. Wagoner Agricultural Facility)
6:30 p.m. – Live Auction
Show Scholarships
Pearland ISD Livestock Show & Career Expo proceeds will sponsor scholarships for top culinary, art and livestock exhibitors.
Scholarship applications are available on the Pearland ISD Livestock Show & Career Expo webpage.
Twelfth-grade participants in the livestock, art and culinary contests may apply for scholarships. Applications must be submitted to high school counselors by Monday, Sept. 15.
Volunteer Opportunities
Local businesses and community members may volunteer to join a committee, judge contests, decorate and sponsor or serve at the auction dinner.
