A resident of Pine Hollow reported to the Pearland Police Department that a theft of a package from his door step by unknown persons occurred.  Although this type of crime has a high incidence during the holiday season, precautions should be taken year round to prevent this type of crime from occurring.  If it is possible, you can ask a neighbor to watch your door step if you are expecting packages or if you have a neighbor who is normally home consider having the packages delivered to their house instead.  Another alternative might be to have packages delivered to you place of employment, if allowed.
