Santa’s Mailbox
When: Monday December 1st – Friday, December 12th

Send a letter to Santa by dropping it in one of three special mailboxes located
across Pearland. Santa also has an email address and you can send your letters and
best wishes to him at santaclaus@pearlandtx.gov
Christmas Festival and Tree Lighting
When: Friday, December 5 and Saturday December 6, 2014
Location: Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway
Cost: FREE ADMISSION
Feel the Christmas spirit come alive as the City of Pearland and Pearland Town
Center host a Pearland Hometown Christmas! The seasonal event includes
a weekend of Christmas cheer at the Hometown Christmas Festival and the
traditional lighting of the City’s Christmas tree. Planned activities include:
• Christmas entertainment • Live music
• Movie nights • Promotions
• Food & Beverage • Strolling entertainment
• Snow play areas • Horse & Carriage rides
• Breakfast with Santa • And much more
33rd Annual Lighted Christmas Parade
“A Parade of Trees”
When: Saturday, December 6, 2014
Time: Parade starts at 5:30 p.m.
Parade Route: FM 518 from Pearland Parkway to Old Alvin Road
On Saturday, join us as we host dozens of floats and walking groups in the City’s
annual Lighted Christmas parade, each decked out in lights and holiday spirit. This
year’s theme, “A Parade of Trees” is sure to bring out the creativity in each group,
centered around the holiday tradition of the Christmas tree. To help ring in the
season, City of Pearland Parks & Recreation invites your business or organization
to join in as a participant in the parade! Entries are accepted from businesses,
non-profit organizations, families, individuals and civic groups. The traditional
parade route leads west on FM 518 from Pearland Parkway and concluding at Old
Alvin Road.
Parade entries will be judged by a panel of judges and prizes will be awarded in the
following four categories:
• Best Overall
• Best Use of Lights
• Best Use of Theme – “A Parade of Trees”
Floats and walking entries may be entered at a cost of $10 per entry/group.
Entrants must submit a blurb for parade narration. Space is limited, so please
