On July 14, 2014, a theft from vehicles occurred on the 3600 block of Knotty Pine Circle.  This type of crime can many times be avoided by following the recommendations from the Pearland Police Department:

• LOCK YOUR CAR
• At home or on the road, keep valuables out of plain sight
• Secure purses, computers, GPS systems, radar detectors, mp3 players, etc in the home or in the trunk
• Bags, briefcases or backpacks make tempting targets for car burglars; don’t leave them in the car. 
• Don’t trust that window tint will keep your valuables hidden
