Free Kid Activities at City of Pearland’s July 4th Celebration of Freedom
PEARLAND, TX. (June 18, 2014) – Kids can enjoy, free of charge, a variety of inflatables and other fun activities in the Memorial Hermann Kid Zone at the City of Pearland’s July 4th Celebration of Freedom, courtesy of Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital.
The annual celebration, organized each year by Pearland Parks & Recreation, takes place on Friday, July 4, 6-10 p.m. at the Pearland High School Football Stadium, 3775 South Main.
The free Memorial Hermann Kid Zone activities include strolling entertainment; plush, rideable animals on wheels that light up and sing songs; and inflatables. At 6:30 p.m., all family members are invited to the event’s free concert. The evening’s entertainment begins with the Veterans of Foreign Wars military salute, followed by the Let Freedom Sing talent search winner’s rendition of the National Anthem and music by the Drywater Band. At 9 p.m., a spectacular fireworks show concludes the night.
