The highly-anticipated 2nd Annual Friendswood Crawfish Festival is set to take place May 24th, in beautiful downtown Friendswood. The event is sponsored by the Friendswood Lions Club. Scheduled for Memorial Day weekend, the festival offers a family-friendly atmosphere and a small-town feel. The music lineup will feature some of Houston’s most talented local musicians and performers. A healthy attendance is expected from all over the Greater Houston area.

“Crawfish season is here and we are ready to bring those Louisiana Mud Bugs right to the City of Friendswood,” says Justin Tolliver, owner of Justin’s Seafood Restaurant. There is no shortage to the entertainment the festival plans to offer. Guests can participate in a crawfish eating contest, relax and enjoy the live music, and partake in some shopping with local artists and craft vendors’ wares. Radio station 100.3 The Bull will be in attendance with local DJs and prize giveaways.
