Audition Notice: “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever”
The Pearl Theater is hosting an open audition call for The Best Christmas Pageant Ever:
Date/Time: October 20 and 21 at 7pm. You only need to attend one day.
Auditions for “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever” written by Barbara Robinson, will take place at the Pearl Theater located at 14803 Park Almeda Dr. Houston, TX 77047. The show runs Dec. 12-22.

Rehearsals are on weekends and 1-2 weekdays depending on conflicts.
Auditions:
Cold reading from the script beginning at 7pm. Please bring a head shot (or school photo) and resume if you have one. Please BRING ALL CONFLICTS to auditions.
Casting:
Needed are boys and girls, ages 8-13; men, mid 20’s to late 40’s; and women, mid-30’s to mid-60’s. Auditions will be a cold read from the script. Additional baby angels, choir members, and shepherds are also needed. Great roles for all ages!
Summary:
The Herdmans are the worst kids in the history of the world. So no one is prepared when this outlaw family invades church one Sunday and decides to take over the annual Christmas pageant. which causes a lot of people to be up in arms. The end result, however, is one of the most unusual pageants anyone has seen and, just possibly, the best – as everyone discovers the true meaning of Christmas.
Casting preference will be given to families who volunteer to work on the show as kid wranglers, sound/light tech operators, set builders, backstage crew, or production assistants. Training provided.
