The Comprehensive Plan guides public policy for the next 10 years in terms of transportation, utilities, land use, recreation, housing, economic development and others. Having a plan provides the City with the opportunity to address issues related to growth and service provision in a proactive, coordinated manner that promotes the health, safety, and general welfare of residents.
