Join the “Healthy at H-E-B Community Challenge” for Pearland!
Beginning in September, The City of Pearland will be participating in the “Healthy at H-E-B Community Challenge.” This is an 8-week competition that allows cities and towns to face off against each other to see which city can mobilize the healthiest action. The City has teamed up with our local H-E-B Plus!, the Vic Coppinger Family YMCA, Pearland ISD, the Pearland Reporter News, Space Center Systems, the Pearland Convention & Visitors Bureau and Pushlocal.com to work towards the goal of transforming Pearland into the healthiest community! Pearland is “Healthy to the Core,” and we’re going to prove it to every other city in Texas! The Healthy at HEB Community Challenge runs from September 1 to October 31.
