A series of vehicle break-ins occurred on August 9, 2013 in the Towne Lake, Oak Brook and Dixie Woods subdivisions.  With the Towne Lake Subdivision being hit the hardest.  All of these subdivision are near to Pine Hollow.  This is a good time to remind all residents to prevent this type of crime from occurring:

1. Remove valuables from the cars each night or place them so they are not easily seen.
2. Make sure your car doors are lock.  Many times the thieves are not breaking a window to gain access to the vehicles, they simply check those cars that are unlocked since they are easy targets.
3. If you can, do not park your car in the street. Park your car in your driveway or garage.
