Gear up for our Race 4 Charity on July 27th!

Be a part of the first Race for Charity in 2013: We are in our fifth year of Racing for Charity, and we are hoping this will be our biggest yet. We believe in good community partnerships and to that end, our charity races directly support the local community charities in Brazoria and Harris counties that don’t receive national funding. This event will benefit The Adult Reading Center & the New Hope Women’s Center. With sponsorship opportunities at various levels, anyone and everyone can get involved. We are also looking for raffle items if you would like to donate something.

The Adult Reading Center

The Adult Reading Center provides free English literacy, workforce development, GED and citizenship programs. For the last 26 years, the Adult Reading Center has provided free classes to almost 1,000 adult learners a year.

Our classes help to pave the way for a better quality of life for adult learners who are truly eager:

• to learn and be proficient in the English language
• to be parents who are actively involved in their children’s education
• to acquire new job skills which will help them obtain better-paying jobs, and
• to receive instruction to help them achieve their dreams of becoming a US citizen.

New Hope Women’s Center

New Hope Women’s Center has been operating in the Pasadena area for 30 years, loyally assisting women-in-need in overcoming their alcohol and drug addictions. For anyone who has had a loved one or close friend battle addiction, you know firsthand how critical centers such as this help with the recovery effort. New Hope Women’s Center works tirelessly to further help these women to create a foundation for healthy, sober living and assists them in the rebuilding of their lives so that they can resume daily life with their spouses, families and friends while becoming more productive and responsible members of our society.

Drive your street car or racecar on track

The event is open to drivers of street cars and racecars alike. Online registration is now open!

We have several groups on track throughout the day allowing spectators the opportunity to see a variety of vehicles.

• Novice DE- street car lapping group designed for drivers new to track days
• Advanced DE- street car lapping group designed for drivers with prior track day experience
• Spec Racer Ford Challenge- racecar group for purpose built racecars called Spec Racer Fords
• Spec Miata Challenge- racecar group for purpose built racecars called Spec Miatas
• Vintage Throwback Challenge- racecar group for racecars over 20 years old
• Australian- Pursuit Time Trial- racecar group for closed-wheel cars
