Pearland Connect is a communications vehicle that the City of Pearland is using to keep you informed. We do our best to provide you with the information you want and need and we want to hear from you. We invite your feedback and welcome your input on our Facebook page or by email.

Got July 4th plans?

Join us in celebrating our country’s independence for the City’s July 4th Celebration of Freedom. A VFW military salute will begin the evening’s entertainment, followed by the National Anthem.Then sit back, relax and sing along to the sounds of the Texas Unlimited Band on the HEB Plus! Entertainment Stage.

On-site activities include: face painting, inflatables and strolling entertainment. At sundown, enjoy a spectacular 20-minute fireworks display from your seat inside the stadium. Food is available for purchase or you can bring your own. Alcohol, glass containers, pets and tobacco are prohibited. For more information, visit the Pearland Parks & Recreation Web site.

City launches Connect2Pearland app

The City of Pearland launched its Connect2Pearland mobile application for smartphone users. The Connect2Pearland application is available for Apple iOS and Android devices and provides users the ability to report a variety of issues. The Connect2Pearland mobile application offers users the following categories of service:

Submit a Report – Offers a listing of a variety of issues that can be reported. Examples include: broken curbs, potholes and dead animals.
My Reports – Allows users to track the progress of their issues until resolved.
News – Provides access to the City’s news stream.
Personal Setting (under the More tab) – Users can enter profile information to be updated when issues are addressed.

Pearland’s new mobile application is available for download at cityofpearland.com/c2p, as well as in the iTunes App Store and the Android Market.
