Pearland Police are searching for clues in a recent string of thefts involving expensive alloy wheels and rims.

According to police officials, a resident called to report tires and rims worth roughly $2,800 had been stolen from a Cadillac Escalade in the 2900 block of Water Willow Lane Wednesday (April 24). Two Hispanic men wearing hoodies were reportedly seen walking up to the vehicle at 1:35 p.m. and rolling the wheels away in less than 10 minutes time. The owner was able to show detectives a video of the theft as evidence.
