These robberies are occurring in the Pearland area. Residents should be aware that these daytime robberies are going on. If you see anything suspicious in the neighborhood report it to the police. In 2011, Pine Hollow had several break-ins that occurred.

PEARLAND, TX (KTRK) — Pearland police are investigating a string of daytime burglaries, with the most recent cases occurring just this morning at 8am and 8:40am.

Police tell Eyewitness News that all in all they are investigating a string of kick burglaries this month.

January 4 – 3900 block of Kinnerton Street
January 5 – 2200 block of Calypso Bay Drive
January 8 – 3200 block of English Oaks Boulevard
January 10 – Villas at Shadow Creek Apartments, 2020 Business Center Drive
January 12 – 9100 Sundown Drive
January 15 – 3200 Bruno Way
January 15 – 3200 Gablepark Lane

The suspects broke windows or forced open doors in order to gain access to the homes. The thefts have involved mainly jewelry and electronics, but in at least one case a number of guns were reported stolen as well.

Lt. Onesimo Lopez with the Pearland Police Department says that in one case, a witness reported seeing two suspects run of the house and flee in a black or .dark colored 4-door vehicle. No detailed description is available.

All cases are under active investigation by Pearland police.
