Crime Alert: Car Burglaries on the Rise
Over this past weekend (1/22/17) many Pine Hollow Residents had their cars broken into. Cars broken into include the areas of Pine Moss, Pine Field and Pine Valley. Other surrounding neighborhoods have also reported issues with car burglaries recently. If any one has information that can lead to the arrest of the person or persons involved please contact the Pearland Police Department.
The Pearland Police Department offers these tips to help keep citizens from becoming a victim of a car burglary.
- LOCK YOUR CAR
- At home or on the road, keep valuables out of plain sight
- Secure purses, computers, GPS systems, radar detectors, mp3 players, etc in the home or in the trunk
- Bags, briefcases or backpacks make tempting targets for car burglars; don’t leave them in the car.
- Don’t trust that window tint will keep your valuables hidden
